Neuroaffirming therapist IN VIRGINIA

IT’S TIME TO FEEL MORE AT HOME IN YOURSELF.

REBECCA LOESBERG, LCSW

You’re here because life has started to feel harder than it should.

You may be tired of overthinking, pushing through, and trying to hold everything together while quietly feeling overwhelmed underneath it all. Maybe anxiety has been part of the picture for a long time. Maybe burnout, perfectionism, or the question of ADHD or autism is starting to come into focus too.

You know something is not working the way it used to. You want support that helps you understand yourself more clearly and move through life with a little more ease.

You’re in the right spot.

How I work

At the core of my approach to therapy is the belief that you make sense.

Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and grounded in your real life. I work with women and non-binary adults who are often thoughtful, insightful, and capable, but worn down by anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, executive functioning struggles, or the ongoing effort of trying to function in systems that do not fit.

My approach is neuroaffirming, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, parts work, motivational interviewing, attachment-based work, and nervous system-informed support. Sessions may include reflection, strategizing, problem solving, or simply making space for what has been hard to carry alone.

I want therapy to feel useful. That can mean understanding patterns more clearly, sorting through a brain dump, talking through work or relationship stress, or finding ways to make daily life feel more manageable and more true to who you are.

HEre’s what I believe about therapy:

This is not about becoming someone “better.”

It is about understanding yourself more clearly, with less shame and more self-trust.

Insight matters, but so does real support.

Therapy should help you make sense of why things feel hard and give you something steady to work with in daily life.

You deserve care that fits your mind and your life.

You do not need more pressure. You need support that feels workable, thoughtful, and honest.

Get the support that’s right for you.
