Meet Rebecca Loesberg
Clinical Social Worker

Hi, I'm Rebecca (she/her) and I'm so glad you're here.

I want to be your go-to companion as we figure out how to make your individual situation a little easier. I specialize in helping young and youngish adults work through their shit: work issues, relationship issues, family complications, friendship dynamics, and general life struggles. We will face some of those more uncomfortable emotions and situations, together. If you're not a young adult, I'd love to see you, too! Let's talk about what's going on with you and make a plan to get you feeling a little better.

Want to get into the nitty gritty? Here's some therapy talk: I use an individualized, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach in my work, utilizing different modalities such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing and attachment based work. I am also a bit of a brain nerd, so I use information about the brain and nervous system to discuss how those things influence our emotions and behaviors. My educational theory base is a systems-theory based approach, which I use to envision how all of the different parts of your life work together. It helps to see how things could be working differently too.

Want to know more about me? I have over a decade of experience as a social worker in the non-profit and for-profit world with a wide array of populations. I have experience assessing and treating folks who have gone through trauma, are having work-related issues, have anxiety and depression, and working with people who are trying to figure out how to be a human in the world today. I love being in nature, taking a drive and having a good sing/scream in the car, doodling, and hanging out on the couch with my doggo, Winston.
